The main element in this beautiful Mexican craft are the gannets.
This flower native to South Africa was cultivated in Europe from the end of the 17th century and from there it arrived in Mexico. Today they are grown mainly in the State of Mexico and Veracruz because of its tropical climate. They were the favorite flowers of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, as we can see in her paintings. They are the flowers with greater bearing, for that reason their meaning denotes elegance, superiority and nobility.
This beautiful handmade tree of life dedicated to the gannets is the perfect detail to give originality and beauty to the interior spaces.
